Changes to the hardship waiver criteria under spousal impoverishment rules

DHS recently shared bulletin 17-21-03 (PDF). The bulletin explains changes to the hardship waiver criteria under spousal impoverishment rules for people who are married and enrolled in one of the following waiver programs:

  • Brain Injury (BI)
  • Community Alternative Care (CAC)
  • Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI)
  • Developmental Disabilities (DD).
