Purpose: To alert lead agencies and all interested stakeholders to an upcoming person-centered and positive behavior support training and technical assistance opportunity

The Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota seek applicants for an intensive,–multi-year training and technical-assistance program. The program will help agencies to make organizational changes to implement person-centered practices and positive behavior support in services for people who receive supports..
DHS and ICI will accept up to five agencies for the program starting in May. Lead agencies, case-management agencies and providers are encouraged to submit applications to work jointly. Applications are due March 27.
DHS and ICI will host a webinar on Feb. 23 to discuss the training opportunity. DHS will post more information about the webinar soon on the DSD training news and information web page.
