PUBLIC Summary of Settlement Agreement License Holder: Marilyn Olson License Number: 1084292 Program Type: Family Child Care Date of Licensing Action: September 20, 2022 Licensing Action Taken: Order for Temporary Immediate Suspension Action appealed and settlement agreement signed by Commissioner on: November 29, 2022 Terms of Settlement Agreement: The License Holder’s family child care license shall be placed on conditional status for a period of two years. The License Holder shall comply with the following terms: i. Within 60 calendar days of execution of this settlement, License Holder must complete the six-hour Supervising for Safety course or six hours of Active Supervision training courses, either in-person or online, and provide documentation to Stearns County. This provision is in addition to the annual training requirements as listed in Minnesota Statutes, section 245A.50. ii. Within 30 days of execution, License Holder will provide Stearns County with a detailed written plan that addresses how she will provide required supervision to each age group at all times. This plan must be approved by Stearns County. License Holder agrees to comply with the approved supervision plan at all times. iii. License Holder must comply with all applicable Minnesota Statutes and Rules, including Minnesota Rules, parts 9502.0300 through 9502.0445. iv. No other variances as to age or capacity will be granted during the period of conditional license without prior approval from Stearns County. License holder will pay half of the $1000 fine and the commissioner will waive the remaining half of the fine for two years.
