CORRECTION ORDER
An investigation of Munsinger Bridges MN was completed regarding report number 202302464, which alleged violation of Minnesota Statutes, section 626.557, and Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 245D. This maltreatment allegation concerned neglect. The disposition of the investigation report is inconclusive. One violation was noted.
VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTION ORDERS
The following violation of state and (or) federal laws and rules was observed. Corrective action for the violation is required by Minnesota Statutes, section 245A.06, and is hereby ordered by the Commissioner of Human Services. Failure to correct the violation within the prescribed amount of time may result in fines and/or action against your license, as provided for in Minnesota Statutes, sections 245A.06 and 245A.07.
Citation: Minnesota Statutes section 245D.05, subdivision 2, paragraph (b), clause (1).
Violation: The license holder did not implement medication administration procedures to ensure a person takes medications and treatments as prescribed.
A consumer’s (C’s) support plan or the support plan addendum assigned responsibility for medication administration to the license holder. On March 18, 2023, the facility failed to ensure the C’s lithium carbonate was available/filled, which resulted in a missed dose.
Repeat Violation: The license holder was cited for a similar violation in an Order of Conditional License dated March 10, 2020.
Corrective Action Ordered: Within 30 days from receipt of this order, submit a plan to your licensor explaining how you will maintain compliance in the future. Because the license is currently revoked, operating under appeal, you must share this correction order with the person, the person’s legal representative, and the person’s case manager and inform each of how you will maintain compliance with this licensing requirement on a continuing basis.
If you believe any of the citation is in error, you may ask the Commissioner of Human Services to reconsider the parts of the correction order that you believe to be in error. If you choose to exercise this right, your request for reconsideration must be in writing and received by the Commissioner within 20 calendar days after receipt of this letter.
