Your local county human services office is a good place to start if you have questions or you want to apply for Minnesota Health Care Programs.
A county worker will review your application and determine which program(s) you are eligible for. Only some counties handle MinnesotaCare. If MinnesotaCare is the only program for which you might be eligible, the county may process your application or they may send it to the MinnesotaCare office in St. Paul.
