Proposed New Permanent Rules Governing Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment
In accordance with 2011 legislation, the department will propose the adoption of new rules governing certification of integrated dual diagnosis treatment programs. The programs will serve individuals who are diagnosed with a substance-related disorder and mental illness. The department published a Request for Comments in the State Register on August 29, 2011. The Department will publish a Notice of Hearing and the proposed rules in the State Register on December 24, 2012. Also available is the Statement of Need and Reasonableness. All of these documents are available below. Publication of the Notice of Hearing will be followed by a formal public review and comment period. The Notice of Hearing tells how to comment on the proposed rules and how to participate in the public hearing that will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
