Minnesota Child Welfare Training System
For tribal and county agency supervisors
Welcome to the Minnesota Child Welfare Training System (MCWTS) page for county and tribal child welfare supervisors. These pages provide supervisors with information regarding training opportunities, upcoming events, resources and links to related websites.
Strengthening child welfare supervision
This training for child welfare supervisors is designed to equip child welfare supervision with the skills and tools to improve outcomes for children, families and service delivery; improve worker retention and job satisfaction; and become more consistent and effective as a supervisor. This is a series of eight classroom trainings. Participants are expected to commit to attend all offerings in the series.
Through the cohort model, supervisors are encouraged to network with colleagues between sessions and after the series.
