Special Needs Purchasing

Public meetings

Special Needs Purchasing is a unit within DHS’ Health Care Administration and holds stakeholder meetings periodically during the year for seniors and people with disabilities in managed care.

By subscribing to the Special Needs Purchasing Mailing List, stakeholders receive timely email alerts regarding upcoming stakeholder meetings for seniors and people with disabilities enrolled in managed care. Stakeholders also receive emails from the Dual Demo News providing the most up to date information about Minnesota’s Demonstration to Integrate Care for Dual Eligibles (Dual Demo).

To register for upcoming stakeholder meetings, visit Meeting Registration.

  • • Stakeholders may participate in meetings by telephone, in-person or webinar.
  • • Registered stakeholders receive an email confirmation with the meeting date, time and location. The webinar phone number and access link is sent out by email closer to the meeting date.
  • • Stakeholder meetings may be held at the DHS Andersen building or at the DHS Lafayette building. Stakeholders attending a meeting in person at the DHS Lafayette building must sign in at the Information Desk and provide the license number of the vehicle parked in the DHS visitor lot. Reference information is available for the Lafayette building location (DHS-4023A) (PDF), directions and parking info (DHS-3980A) (PDF).
  • Accomodations: To request a reasonable accommodation for a meeting, please indicate you have a specific need when prompted within the meeting registration system. A member of the Special Needs Purchasing team will follow-up with you by email.

Previous stakeholder meeting materials are available by meeting date at Meeting Materials.
