Provider Record Review & 245D License - Waiver/AC Program Services
MHCP announced the requirement for all who provide services to recipients receiving services through the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver or Alternative Care (AC) programs to complete a waiver provider record review before September 30, 2013, (Waiver Record Review Deadline Extension). MHCP also announced the requirement for some waiver services to obtain a 245D license.
MHCP is offering multiple two-hour training webinars to provide instruction about the overall process for completing the provider record review and for obtaining a 245D license through DHS Licensing for anyone providing waiver or AC program services or others who may have an interest.
Each webinar session includes time for both the presentation and questions.
MHCP offers two webinar training sessions each month from July - December 2013.
Each webinar session is 2 hours in length and includes:
MHCP suggests providers send the person who completes the paper work for that provider’s MHCP enrollment record or who is/will be the primary contact person for obtaining licenses.
The webinar allows attendance of up to 1,000 people per session.
MHCP welcomes lead agency representatives and any other interested parties who assist waiver and AC providers to attend.

AC/Waiver Programs New 245D License Holders
This session is designed for providers who have already completed the record review but still need to obtain a 245D license now or in the future. Refer to the table below for the dates and times of these sessions.
AC/Waiver Programs Current 245B License Holders
This session is designed for providers who have already completed their record review, currently hold a 245B license yet need to obtain the 245D license. Refer to the table below for the dates and times of these sessions.
245D HCBS & Foster Care - County and Provider Changes
This session is designed for county lead agency staff and providers who work with foster care services to understand how the 245D license impacts or changes the current license processes. Refer to the table below for the date and time of the session.

Participants need the following to attend a webinar session:
Attendees connect to the webinar from their own computers and need only an internet connection and audio. Attendees communicate with the presenters using the webinar chat feature during the session.
MHCP requires attendees to register for each workshop session.
Registrants must register on the DHS iLinc Public Registration page. Registrants need to enter their names and email addresses they will use to join the webinar session.
Registration closes 15 minutes before each webinar session.
MHCP will send an email invitation to the email address you entered during the registration process. Two hours before the webinar session begins, MHCP will also send an email reminder, which includes a link to join the webinar.
The webinar allows a large number of people to attend a session at one time. If you are unable to attend, you do not need to notify MHCP.
