Did you apply through MNsure and were approved for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare coverage?
Do you have questions about your health care coverage? We can help.
Are you having trouble seeing your doctor or getting a prescription filled?
You can still see your doctor or get a prescription even if you do not have your member card.
What to show your doctor or pharmacy
If you were told you can get Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare, but do not yet have your member card:
What your doctor or pharmacy needs to do
We told all providers that members may not get member cards right away. Your doctor or pharmacy will be able to help you get services. They can check whether you qualify through the automated systems. They can also call the Provider Call Center if they do not see your information in the system.
If we said you qualify, but your clinic or pharmacy does not have that information, ask the clinic or pharmacy to call the Provider Call Center. The call center will be able to help them find out whether you qualify for coverage.
You can help get information about your coverage by calling the MHCP Member Help Desk if you are unable to get services or prescriptions filled. The help desk will help you work with your provider to get the help you need. Call the help desk if you have any questions about your eligibility or coverage.
