  • Providers eligible to provide, bill and be paid by MHCP for providing HCBS waiver services must:
  • Enroll and continuously maintain qualifications to provide the waiver service
  • • Be selected by the service recipient, the recipient’s legal representative, if any, and the case manager or service coordinator of the lead agency, meaning the county, tribe, or managed care organization (MCO)
  • • Have an approved service authorization (SA) to provide the service(s) for the recipient
