Welcome to the Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) provider home page.
House and Senate vote to delay ICD-10
Refer to the ICD-10 Web page for information about the vote to delay implementation until October 1, 2015.
Policy on 2% federal spending cuts
We previously announced that we would reduce claims by 2% as a result of federal spending cuts, known as sequestration. On further review of the federal sequestration cuts that apply to Medicare payments and the impact on MHCP fee-for-service (FFS) rates, we determined that no MHCP payments for services are required to be reduced by 2% as a result of sequestration. We will begin reprocessing any claims that were reduced to reinstate the 2% as soon as we complete the necessary programming.
Some MHCP recipients may not receive notices or health care cards promptly. MHCP is offering extra help to providers so recipients can get services and prescriptions they need.
Providers, if someone states they have applied and are eligible for an MHCP program, please:
We appreciate providers’ extra help to ensure that recipients get prescriptions and medical care they need.
