MN–ITS technical issues

On August 18, 2015, MHCP providers may experience the following technical issues:

  • • MN–ITS Eligibility Request (270) and Request Claim Status (276) transactions may time out.
  • • MN–ITS Direct Data Entry (DDE) claims may receive the error message “Subscriber Not Found.”
  • • Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS) claims may receive an error. Please use the MHCP NDC search online, when available, to determine if a drug is covered, requires prior authorization, or has quantity limits.
  • • Real-time and batch eligibility request transactions may receive an error.

  • MN–ITS may be intermittently unavailable while we work to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Acknowledgment responses

    For batch files submitted June 15, 2015, verify that you received a response and that the response includes the requested information. If you received a miscellaneous file that shows as zero bytes, call the Provider Call Center to have a ticket created.

    PDF Remittance Advices (RAs)
    Some PDF RAs are also showing as zero bytes and do not open when selected. We have replaced these RAs with the corrected files. You do not need to call the Provider Call Center about these. The corrected RA in your mailbox will have the date of June 16, 2015, and the name of the file will end with an underscore (_.pdf).

    Electronic Remittance Advices (835 X12)
    (Revised 06/22/15)

    The 835 X12 files from last week were delayed due to a system issue. We have now sent 835 X12 files for the June 16, 2015, payment date to all providers who receive them.

    Verifying eligibility

    MHCP encourages providers to continue to provide services to people whose information about eligibility for MinnesotaCare or Medical Assistance is not yet available in MHCP systems. We ask that you work with clients and MHCP to obtain the information necessary for you to provide prescriptions and other health care services.
