Child Support – Stored Value Card Account
A stored value card account is a method of direct deposit for child support payments.
The stored value card account, also called the ReliaCard, is offered and serviced by U.S. Bank®, not by the State of Minnesota.
The Child Support Enforcement Division (CSED) electronically loads child support payments to the ReliaCard®Visa® card. The card carries the Visa® logo and is accepted anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
The ReliaCard Visa is a debit card, not a credit card.
No approval required
U.S. Bank will not send the ReliaCard Visa outside of the United States.
Obligees moving outside of the United States should contact their county child support officer. Obligees can get their child support officer’s name on:
If you have questions about your ReliaCard Visa card or account
Obligees should contact U.S. Bank at (866) 276-5114 with questions about their ReliaCard Visa card or account.
