Telephone Equipment Distribution (TED) Program
The TED Program provides telephone equipment to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, speech impaired or have a physical disability and need adaptive equipment in order to use the phone. The equipment is loaned out at no cost as a long-term loan. Available equipment include captioned phones, light flashing ring signalers, TTYs, amplified telephones, loud ringers, hands free speakerphones and more.
Beginning July 1, 2011, the TED Program will provide Minnesota Relay Outreach services from our regional offices in Moorhead, Duluth, St. Cloud, St. Paul and Mankato. Minnesota Relay Outreach services will include distributing informational pamphlets, explaining how Minnesota Relay services work, documenting complaints and commendations, conducting presentations and one-on-one trainings, and demonstrating equipment options. To contact the Minnesota Relay Outreach office, call 651-602-9005 or 1-800-657-3775. Additional information can be viewed on the Minnesota Relay page.
