| A MinnesotaCare enrollment representative will review your application and send you a notice within 30 – 45 days telling you if you are eligible. |
| MinnesotaCare coverage usually begins the month after you pay your first premium. MinnesotaCare may pay for past medical bills for people who apply within 30 days after their Medical Assistance or General Assistance Medical Care coverage ends. |
