DEFERRED ACTION

Deferred Action is granted when an immigration official agrees not to take action on a person’s immigration case for a certain amount of time. That person is allowed to live and work in the United States for the amount of time granted by the immigration official.
People with Deferred Action AND a valid Employment Authorization Document are eligible for benefits.
