MAIN screen | MMIS stores two types of screening documents for home and community-based services (HCBS) in the MMIS SCREENINGS file: Workers with an appropriate MMIS security access may review or take specific action on screening documents: | ||
ASCR key screen | Enter a valid value in the ACTION CODE field on the ASCR screen: To review existing screening documents, complete the following fields: 4. Press a transmit key. If only one screening document exists for the PMI entered, MMIS opens the document and does not open the ASEL screen. If no history exists, MMIS displays a message at the bottom of the ASCR screen stating: NO DOCUMENTS MEET THE SELECTION CRITERIA. | ||
ASEL screen | If there are existing screening documents for the PMI entered, the ASEL screen opens and lists existing screening documents for the PMI entered on the ASCR screen. MMIS displays the valid values (i.e., codes and dates) in fields that detail the recipient’s screening history. To review a list of screening documents and select a document to review: TYPE field valid values are D (DD Screening Document) and L (LTC Screening Document. DOCUMENT NUMBER field displays the document number MMIS assigned to the SD. PROVIDER NUMBER field displays the NPI (National Provider Index) or UMPI (Unique Minnesota Provide Index) number assigned to the case manager. PROVIDER NAME field displays the case manager’s name associated with the provider number in the PROVIDER NUMBER field. ACT TYPE field valid values are the action type codes indicating the action taken on a DD SD. ACT TYPE field valid values are the activity type codes indicating the activity conducted on a LTC SD. START DATE field displays the start date of the screening document in MMDDYY format. ST field valid values are the codes indicating the status of the screening document. MAJ PROG field displays the major program of the recipient at the time of this screening. | ||
