4.6.6 Authorized Activities Outside An Employment Plan

Authorized activities outside of an Employment Plan

The following activities outside of an Employment Plan are authorized activities for all CCAP subprograms.

· Job search at application or redetermination up to 240 hours per calendar year per participant, see Chapter 4.6.6.3 (Job Search at Application or Redetermination).

· Employment, See 4.6.6.6 (Employment Outside of an Employment Plan).

· Education with approved plan by a County or Tribe for TY, TYE and BSF subprograms, see Chapter 4.6.6.9 (Education Outside of an Employment Plan).

· Education is NOT an authorized activity outside of an Employment Plan for MFIP subprogram, see Chapter 4.6.3 (Authorized Activities Within an Employment Plan).

· Combinations of authorized activities, see 4.6.6.12 (Combination of Activities Examples).

Additional authorized activities outside of an Employment Plan for MFIP child care

In addition to the above, the following activities outside of an Employment Plan are authorized activities for MFIP child care subprogram ONLY:

· Financial and employment services orientations and assessments for families participating in MFIP.

· Appeals and hearings for cash assistance for families participating in MFIP.

Changes to authorized activities outside Employment Plan during the 12- month eligibility period
