Monitoring technology grants to serve people with disabilities

DHS seeks proposals from qualified responders to conduct a pilot project for home and community-based, technology-enhanced remote support for people with disabilities.

For information on how to apply/respond, see the announcement, DHS is seeking proposals to provide Technology Enhanced Monitoring and Remote Support to People with Disabilities, on the DHS — Open grants, RFPs and RFIs page.

Background

The Minnesota Legislature authorized and funded this project in 2016. This project is intended to help people with disabilities live more independently by using technology-enhanced monitoring and remote support.

Available funds

During state fiscal year 2018, up to $250,000 will be available for all proposals funded under this RFP. Proposals must be submitted by 4 p.m. Central Standard Time, Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.
