Purpose: To announce the availability of a monitoring technology grant RFP to serve people with disabilities
Effective date: Immediately
DHS seeks proposals from qualified responders to conduct a pilot project for home and community-based, technology-enhanced remote support for people with disabilities.

The Minnesota Legislature authorized and funded this project in 2016. This project is intended to help people with disabilities live more independently by using technology-enhanced monitoring and remote support.
During state fiscal year 2018, up to $250,000 will be available for all proposals funded under this RFP. Proposals must be submitted by 4 p.m. Central Standard Time, Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.
