Training available for people who have a family member or loved one with intellectual or developmental disabilities and dementia

Do you have a family member or loved one with intellectual or developmental disabilities and newly diagnosed with a type of dementia, such as Alzheimer's disease? The Minnesota Department of Human Services is offering free training to provide you with the resources you need to care for your loved one.

In the short, online training modules, you will learn more about: 

  • • Early detection of types of dementia
  • • A basic overview of types of dementia
  • • State resources and national resources
  • • Tips from national experts 
  • • Tips from local professionals
  • Training links
