Transition from PCA to CFSS | DHS is in the process of replacing personal care assistance (PCA) and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG) with Community First Services and Supports (CFSS). For more information about this transition, refer to CFSS Manual – Transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS. For a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) transition summary, refer to DSD MMIS Reference Guide – MMIS transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS. SimilaritiesThe ARCP screen is the same for a PCA and CFSS service agreement (SA). DifferencesThere are no differences between a PCA and CFSS SA on the ARCP screen.
Overview | This page describes how to complete the ARCP screen for both PCA and CFSS. The county/tribal nation and DHS use the ARCP screen to communicate with people who receive PCA/CFSS services. The county/tribal nation and DHS also use the ARCP screen for other services or programs. The county/tribal nation does not always use the ARCP screen. Comments the county/tribal nation enters on the ARCP screen appear in the person’s SA letter. To add a comment to the provider’s SA letter, the county/tribal nation enters the comment on the APRV screen.
System constraints | MMIS includes the following system constraints when the county/tribal nation enters comments:
Recipient comments field (RECIPIENT COMMENTS) | In the RECIPIENT COMMENTS field, the county/tribal nation enters information about the assessment or SA to communicate to the person, including: The county/tribal nation dates and initials all comments.
Navigation | After the county/tribal nation enters comments, they press a transmit key to return to the ASA1 screen (the first screen in the type B SA queue) to finalize the SA.
