NON-CITIZENS WHO BECAME UNITED STATES CITIZENS

Below you will find the information necessary to process a naturalized citizen or derived citizen case.

Naturalized Citizen: A person who went through the United States immigration process to become a United States citizen. 

Derived citizen: A person who became a citizen when they were under age 18 through their parent’s citizenship status. This is not automatic for some children of United States citizens, or some people who were adopted before age 18. 

Run a SAVE if a person does not know if they are a United States Citizen.
