Eligibility criteria | Consumer directed community supports (CDCS) is a service option available to people who already receive services through or are eligible for one of the following home and community-based services (HCBS) programs: | ||
Limitations | Receives certain other servicesCDCS services are not available to a person on a waiver who receives any of the following: Is in the Minnesota Restricted Recipient Program (MRRP)A person is not eligible for CDCS if they have been placed in the MRRP. The person is prohibited from using the CDCS option during the time they are in the MRRP. The lead agency should determine if the person has been placed in the MRRP before discussing CDCS with them. To do this, the lead agency can check the RPCR screen in MMIS. Exits a waiver/AC more than once during the service plan yearIf a person using CDCS exits their waiver/AC more than once during their support plan year, they are ineligible for CDCS for the remainder of that support plan year. The person can still use other waiver or AC services for the remainder of the support plan year. | ||
