Service agreements are part of the MMIS prior authorization subsystem. DHS and lead agencies use many types of prior authorizations and service agreements.

This section of the manual provides instructions for service agreements used to approve services, providers, rates and units for people receiving services through:

· Alternative Care (AC).

· Brain Injury (BI) Waiver.

· Community Alternative Care (CAC) Waiver.

· Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver.

· Elderly Waiver (EW).

· Essential Community Supports (ECS).

For information about the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver program, refer to the DD Screening Document Codebook.
