OLDER AMERICANS ACT

Benefits provided under most titles of the Older Americans Act are in the form of in-kind services, such as meals to seniors. See 0017.15.24 (In-Kind Income) for the treatment of this type of income.
Do not count income paid to participants in programs carried out under the Community Service Employment Program (Title V of the Older Americans Act) which includes:
● | The Experience Works employment services program. |
● | The Senior Community Service Employment Program (Motivation Employment and Training). |
● | The Senior Aides Program. |

MFIP:
Hours are counted in the federal Work Participation Rate (WPR) even if the income is not counted. See 0010.18.01 (Mandatory Verifications: Cash Assistance).
