Elderly Waiver Residential Services Tool webinar, pre- and post-launch calls schedule

Note: We create PowerPoints weeks before webinar dates so some content may not reflect current COVID-19 practices. DHS recommends lead agency staff follow Executive Order 20-20 regarding stay-at-home orders or social distancing requirements when attending webinars, pre-launch calls and post-launch calls.

Purpose

To support lead agencies as they prepare to launch the Elderly Waiver Residential Services (RS) Tool in the MnCHOICES Support Plan (MnSP). To inform lead agencies about the launch planning timeline, support materials, training and guidance on the RS Tool so they can plan their transition to the new computer application.

Launch webinars (lead agencies are strongly encouraged to attend)

Pre-launch calls (attendance is optional based on lead agency questions)

Lead agency staff may have questions when practicing in the MnCHOICES Training Zone (MTZ-SP). Attend these calls to ask questions. The first call has a short introduction PowerPoint, each call has question and answer time and answers to questions may be demonstrated in MTZ-SP.

Note: We recommend only launch leads and mentors attend the May pre-launch calls. Other users may join the pre-launch calls in June and July.

You will receive a registration email from the MnCHOICES help desk before each webinar.

Go to TrainLink

  1. Select Disability Services (formerly Continuing Care) in the Learning Center
  2. Select Sign On in the upper right hand corner
  3. Enter your unique key and click OK
  4. Select Upcoming Classes/Class Registration
  5. Select All MnCHOICES Classes
  6. Click Start Search
  7. Click Select button at left of the line
  8. Click Enroll in this class in the upper right corner and follow instructions to complete registration
