Grant opportunity to support new Americans in the LTC workforce

DHS seeks applications for a grant opportunity to support new Americans in the LTC workforce. New Americans are people born abroad and their children, regardless of immigration status.

DHS will award grants to organizations that:

  • · Connect new Americans with employment.
  • · Help new Americans navigate language and cultural barriers.
  • · Provide supportive services (e.g., training and mentorship).
  • · Support career wraparound services (e.g., transportation and child care supports).
  • Application deadline

    The deadline to apply is Monday, May 6, 2024.
