Webinar announcement: Caring for Children with Complex Needs: Intervention Services, Case Management Alignment and Policy Requirements

Description

The Child Safety and Permanency, Behavioral Health and Disability Services divisions will co-host two webinars about support for children with complex needs and their families.

The webinars will focus on waiver and other intervention services, case management alignment and the intersection of state and federal policy requirements.

Each session will review:

  • Children’s mental health crisis planning best practices and requirements.
  • Waiver intervention services, including covered services and intended outcomes.
  • Permanency support services and other child welfare prevention services.

Target audience

Any interested party, including:

  • Waiver case managers.
  • Children’s mental health case managers.
  • Child protection and child welfare case managers.
  • Child foster care licensors.

Registration information

Register using TrainLink

You must have a unique key to register and receive credit for training.
Note: TrainLink does not allow same-day registration.

Steps

  • Go to TrainLink.
  • Under “Learning Centers,” select Disability Services.
  • Sign on in the upper-right corner.
  • Enter your unique key.
  • Select Upcoming webinars/Live training.
  • Select All DSD Sessions.
  • Search “caring or “DS104.
  • Select a session.
  • Select Enroll in this class in the upper right and follow the registration instructions.
