To: Lead agencies (counties and tribal nations), case managers, Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) data entry staff and other interested parties

Purpose: To notify lead agency staff they may resume entering service agreements in MMIS
Effective: Immediately

All clear to enter and change service agreements in MMIS

DHS completed the second automation process in MMIS. Lead agency staff can resume adding or making changes to Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI), Developmental Disabilities (DD) and Elderly Waiver (EW) service agreements.

Note: The second automation process in MMIS did not apply to Alternative Care (AC), Essential Community Supports (ECS), Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) or Consumer Support Grant (CSG) service agreements.

Lead agency actions

Lead agencies must:

1. Reapprove any lines changed to suspended status during the automation process.

2. Compare to the new InfoPac reports run on Dec. 31, 2024, with the Dec. 19, 2024, reports to make sure the following service lines are approved:

  • · MW2083A: Procedure Code Rate Increase Report LTC Waivers/AC Program.
  • · MW2083B: Procedure Code Rate Increase DD Program.
  • 3. Adjust units and approve services lines by following the MMIS automation process instructions on DHS – MMIS automation process for Jan. 1, 2025.
