Webinar announcement: Waiver Crisis Respite Updates

DHS will host a training session to help lead agencies, waiver case managers and providers understand the changes and updates to waiver crisis respite services.

Learning objectives

After the session, participants will be able to:

  • Define crisis respite.
  • List eligibility requirements for crisis respite.
  • Identify crisis respite settings.
  • Explain provider qualifications and service deliverable expectations.
  • Recognize when a person may benefit from crisis respite.
  • Explain other nuanced details about crisis respite.

Target audience

All interested parties, including:

  • Lead agency staff.
  • Disability waiver case managers.
  • 245D licensed providers.
