Webinar announcement: Elderly Waiver (EW) Hospital High-Needs Budget Exception for Lead Agencies

DHS is hosting a webinar about the new EW hospital high-needs budget exception. Participants will learn about when and how to request the exception using a new form.

After the session, participants will be able to:

• Identify which people using EW would benefit from an EW budget exception.
• Understand the two EW budget exception types.
• Know how to find and complete an EW budget exception request form in MnCHOICES.

All interested parties, including:

• Counties.
• Tribal nations.
• Managed care organizations.
