Overview

Join the DSD Waiver Policy and Compliance team, DSD Waiver Fiscal Policy team and Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee for an opportunity to listen to the committee discussions and submit your written comments.

In these meetings, the committee will provide feedback and help to develop several proposed plans for Waiver Reimagine, as outlined in the Waiver Reimagine - Phase 1 Service Streamline and Phase 2 Recommendations for Reshaping Waivers and Individualized Budgets Legislative Report (PDF).

Background

Waiver Reimagine is the name of ongoing work DHS is doing to make system-level improvements to Minnesota’s four disability waiver programs. For people who receive services and families, the Waiver Reimagine project will:

• Make it easier for people and families to describe the services they want
• Provide information about services and budgets to give people more choice and control over planning services and supports
• Provide equitable access to services and funding across waiver programs regardless of the person’s disability and county or tribal nation
• Increase options to self-direct services, use technology and use remote supports as alternative support options.

You must have a unique key to register and receive credit for attendance. All 2022 session dates are available for registration. Be sure to select the correct date(s). Registration is not required but strongly encouraged to be sure you receive important details, including how to join each session.

Steps

• Go to TrainLink
• Select Disability Services (formerly Continuing Care) Learning Center
• Select Sign On in the upper right hand corner
• Enter your unique key
• Select Upcoming classes/Class registration
• Select All DSD Classes
• Search Waiver
• Select the session
• Select Enroll in this class and follow the registration instructions.
