METS Training Series
Course Information
The METS training series provides policy, procedures, and system information for the county, MinnesotaCare, and DHS staff who are assisting consumers with healthcare cases processed in the METS system.
Registration
Use the Health Care Learning Center to register for and complete training components in the METS training series

- METS New Worker Training
These courses introduce workers to policy and procedures to process cases in the Minnesota Eligibility Technology System (METS) along with an introduction to the legacy MAXIS and MMIS systems.

- IPAM Public Assistance Courses
- Introduction to Public Assistance- TES100-1 (METS-only workers do not have to complete the CAF Workbook activity in this course)
- Introduction to MAXIS and MMIS- TES100-2 (METS-only workers do not have to complete the IPAM APPL Entry Workbook activity in this course).
Note: METS-only workers do not have to complete the rest of the IPAM series.

- METS Homework Quick Guide – MNSIAP50HW
- METS Systems (MNSIAP550H) - Trained by DHS only. All courses and series listed above (1-5) are prerequisites and must be completed before enrolling and attending training. This course consists of five all-day sessions delivered via Webex.
