Advancing Your Skills: Enhancing Support Plans webinar series update

DHS canceled the Sept. 25, 2024, session of the Advancing Your Skills: Enhancing Support Plans webinar series.

In the interim, DHS encourages disability waiver case managers to complete “Informed Choice: Disability Waiver Case Manager Training.” For more information, including registration instructions, refer to TrainLink – Self-paced online course: Informed Choice: Disability Waiver Case Manager Training.

We also encourage Elderly Waiver (EW) care coordinators and case managers to complete the self-paced online course “Elderly Waiver Foundations 1: Administration and Eligibility (AASD-EWF1).” To access the course, refer to TrainLink – Older Adult Programs Learning Center. Upcoming training

The Advancing Your Skills: Enhancing Support Plans webinar series will continue in December 2024. The Dec. 18, 2024, session will:

· Focus on an advanced topic related to support planning.

· Include current information and resources about support planning.
