Webinar announcement: Comprehensive Training on the Assisted Living License and Customized Living (CL) Services

Description

DHS and the Minnesota Department of Health will review assisted living license requirements and CL policy.

Learning objectives

After the session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the historical and current operational requirements for assisted living facilities.
  • Define the two types of assisted living facilities and services delivered in each.
  • Access resources related to the assisted living license and CL policy.
  • Understand the requirements for receiving Medicaid payment for CL services delivered to people on the Brain Injury (BI) Waiver, Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver and Elderly Waiver (EW).
  • Identify applicable setting limitations, based on the setting’s CL enrollment date, for people on the BI and CADI waivers.

Target audience

All interested parties, including:

  • Providers with licensed assisted living facilities.
  • Providers who deliver CL services.
  • Lead agencies.
  • Case managers (including contracted case managers).
