Webinar announcement: Comprehensive Training on the Assisted Living License and Customized Living (CL) Services

Description | DHS and the Minnesota Department of Health will review assisted living license requirements and CL policy. |
Learning objectives | After the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the historical and current operational requirements for assisted living facilities.
- Define the two types of assisted living facilities and services delivered in each.
- Access resources related to the assisted living license and CL policy.
- Understand the requirements for receiving Medicaid payment for CL services delivered to people on the Brain Injury (BI) Waiver, Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver and Elderly Waiver (EW).
- Identify applicable setting limitations, based on the setting’s CL enrollment date, for people on the BI and CADI waivers.

Target audience | All interested parties, including:
- Providers with licensed assisted living facilities.
- Providers who deliver CL services.
- Lead agencies.
- Case managers (including contracted case managers).
