CFSS implementation updates

DHS began the transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS on Oct. 1, 2024. We will provide regular updates early in the transition.

Policy manual

DHS made the following changes:

· Updated CFSS Manual – CFSS service delivery plan development and approval process to clarify that lead agencies adjust a person’s service agreement (SA) if needed, not their CFSS service delivery plan.

· Updated CFSS Manual – Transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS with tasks DHS recently completed and lead agency and current PCA provider agency instructions.

· Updated CFSS Manual – Resources to add frequently asked questions and implementation updates sections, add CFSS: Being an employer to the training for people using CFSS section, add information about office hours and weekly CFSS provider Q&A sessions and add lists of available providers to the other tools section.

· Corrected an error on CFSS Manual – PCA/CFSS age-appropriate dependencies about transfers for children older than 60 months.

MMIS system updates

DHS continues to extend three-month PCA SAs to six months, as described in the Nov. 26, 2024, eList announcement. DHS has completed all SAs that previously ended Feb. 28, 2025. If a county, tribal nation or provider identifies an SA ending before Feb. 28, 2025, that DHS has not updated, they must submit a request to DHS to update it using PCA Request Form, DHS-4292 (counties/tribal nations) or PCA Technical Change Request, DHS-4074A (providers).

DHS continues to test and fix bugs in MMIS. Counties and tribal nations can use Service Agreement and Screening Document (SASD) Support Team Portal, DHS 3754 to report issues to DHS.
