Webinar announcement: 245D virtual roundtable with Licensing and Disability Services: Supporting people to have meaningful outcomes

Description

The DHS Licensing and Disability Services divisions will host a virtual roundtable about:

  • How meaningful goals of the past shifted to person-centered practices in the present.
  • 245D requirements.
  • How to co-create meaningful outcomes with the people we support.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Share their experiences.
  • Ask questions.
  • Identify opportunities to partner with each other.
  • Review 245D requirements and strategies to meet them.
  • Provide ideas about best practices in positive supports.

DHS will provide:

  • Resources for more training.
  • Examples or information sheets about specific practices.
  • References to other organizations.

Target audience

All interested parties, including:

  • Lead agency staff.
  • Case managers.
  • Basic, intensive, in-home and residential support service providers.
  • Day service providers.
  • Employment support service providers.
