Training announcement: Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) Clinical Supervision Trainings

Date and time

Two identical sessions are scheduled from:

  • 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025.
  • 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025.

Description

DHS will host two identical training sessions designed to help EIDBI providers prepare to implement the new clinical supervision requirements passed during the 2025 legislative session. Both sessions will cover:

  • Statutory expectations for supervision frequency, delivery format and documentation.
  • Practical strategies to integrate the updates into everyday practice.
  • Live Q&A as time allows.

Learning objectives

After the training, participants will be able to:

  • Implement EIDBI clinical supervision requirements, including frequency, qualified provider roles and acceptable delivery formats (i.e., in-person and telehealth).
  • Document and deliver supervision in alignment with DHS standards, Medicaid billing expectations and evidence-based practices to support treatment fidelity and oversight.
  • Review and update agency policies to ensure compliance.

Target audience

This training is intended for:

  • EIDBI agency leadership and owners.
  • Qualified supervising professionals (QSPs).
  • Level I and level II EIDBI providers.
  • Administrative and compliance staff who support clinical operations.

Registration is required. The sessions are the same, so participants only need to attend one session.
