Webinar announcement: Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) Legislative Updates

DHS invites EIDBI providers to an informational webinar about 2026 legislative changes that affect the EIDBI benefit. The webinar will outline:

  • Statutory updates.
  • Operational impacts.
  • Upcoming policy guidance.

Topics will include:

  • Documentation requirements.
  • Clinical supervision.
  • Observation and direction.
  • Service limits and exceptions.
  • Electronic visit verification (EVV).
  • What to expect from DHS.
  • Frequently asked questions.

Learning objectives

After the webinar, participants will be able to explain and implement the 2026 EIDBI legislative changes within their provider agency’s:

  • Policies.
  • Documentation practices.
  • Supervision structures.
  • Billing workflows.

Target audience

EIDBI providers, provider agency leadership, clinical supervisors, qualified supervising professionals and other interested parties
