The DSD fiscal policy team will explain recent system updates to Disability Waiver Rate System Exception Request Application, DHS-5820. The updates align with the July 1, 2026, exception changes, as required under Minn. Stat. §256B.4914, subd. 14(a).

The webinar topics will include:

• Five-field limit to diagnosis code fields.
• Renewal wage verification and increase calculator tool.
• Lead agency attestation statements.
• Other changes that improve user experience and clarity.
