Overview
Use this page to search for a provider’s portfolio or register a new provider portfolio in the Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (MPSE) portal.

Search Criteria
Under Search Criteria, complete one or more of the search criteria fields, such as National Provider Identifier (NPI) or Unique Minnesota Provider Identifier (UMPI), to search for a provider’s portfolio. You can refine your search by completing multiple search fields. For example, instead of searching only by NPI or UMPI you can search by NPI or UMPI and legal name.
NPI/ UMPI
Type an NPI or UMPI in the search criterial field. When searching for an UMPI, you must use a capital A or M.
FEIN
Type the provider’s Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) in the 9-digit format 99-9999999 (hyphen will auto-populate).
SSN
Type the provider’s Social Security Number (SSN) in the 9-digit format 999-99-9999 (hyphen will auto-populate).
Legal Name
Type the provider’s legal name. For individual providers type their first and last name. For organization providers, type the legal name of the business.
Clear Search
Click Clear Search to clear the Search Criteria. This will refresh the page and the system will erase all the search criteria you entered previously.
Search
Click Search to the results of your search criteria.
Search Results
Under Search Results, the results of your search will appear. If the system finds no search results, the message, “No search results exist” will appear.
If the Search Results displays the provider portfolio you searched for, you can click View under the Provider Profile Actions to review the provider’s portfolio.
Reinstate
Click Reinstate to reinstate a provider’s enrollment with MHCP.
