Public comment period for amendments to the waiver plans
DHS seeks public comments for recent clarification about payment rates to waiver amendments. Please review April 2017 DHS waiver amendment clarifications for BI, CAC, CADI and DD (PDF).
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) required this new comment period to clarify payment rates for new services proposed in recent waiver amendments. These amendments apply to the following home and community-based services disability waivers:
We sincerely apologize for any confusion this new eList and public comment period may cause. We already have published the content of these amendments three times in August 2015, February 2016 and October 2016. CMS now requires that we publish this additional notice to identify the payment-rate methodology associated with the new services being added in this package of amendments.
This is not a substantive change. We simply are clarifying which payment rates are associated with each of the new services included in the previously published amendment package.

NOTE: If you already commented during one of the previous periods, you do not need to resubmit your comment. We have read and considered your ideas and comments.
