Training on DIR/Floortime for EIDBI providers and others interested in autism services
The Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL) is hosting a 3-day introductory training about DIR/Floortime on April 6–8, 2021, for EIDBI providers and others interested in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) services. We encourage the following people to attend:
DIR/Floortime is one of the DHS-approved treatment modalities used in the EIDBI benefit for children with ASD. It promotes functional emotional development and overall mental health for all children. This training will review the theoretical framework, scientific evidence and how to apply DIR/Floortime.

Dates: April 6–8, 2021 (must attend all days)
Times: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day
Audience: EIDBI providers, human services professionals, families, caregivers
Cost: $29

Follow-up technical assistance session
ICDL is hosting a follow-up session to help providers become credentialed in DIR/Floortime. Representatives from ICDL, the local DIR community and DHS will be there to answer questions. This is a free session with a separate registration from the 3-day DIR 101 course.
