Register for E1MN meetings that promote regional employment collaboration

Make sure to sign up for the E1MN series of regional meetings to facilitate greater collaboration when providing person-centered employment supports. Staff from both DHS and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) will host the meetings, together in partnership with The Improve Group. These meetings will help agencies and providers across the state build stronger partnerships as they launch or expand E1MN efforts.

Meeting details

· The meetings that start next month will be the first in a series. There will be two-hour, follow-up meetings for each region in both February and June 2022.

· Date and time: Each region of the state will have its own two-hour meeting. Refer to the dates and times listed in the “Regions and times” section.

· Deadline to register: Make sure to register for your region’s event by Monday, Nov. 1, 2021. (The deadline is Monday, Oct. 25 if you need accomodations.)

· Platform: All of the meetings will be held via Zoom.

· Agenda: Events will include breakout sessions where attendees will identify ways they can better work together in their communities. Attendees also will have an opportunity ask questions of the E1MN planning team from DHS and DEED.

· Accommodations: There will be an ASL interpreter and CART captioning for all events. For additional accomodations, contact Dan Goldstein, dang@theimprovegroup.com or 651-447-5548, before Monday, Oct. 25.

Who should attend?

We encourage you to attend if you are a leader in employment collaboration (whether as a manager, supervisor team lead, etc.) and work with:

· Vocational Rehabilitation Services/State Services for the Blind (VRS/SSB)

· Lead agencies

· Employment service providers (VRS/SSB and waiver).

All attendees must have foundational knowledge of E1MN. Make sure to review the following resources before attending:
