Instructions for EIDBI providers applying for behavior analyst licensure
Effective Jan. 1, 2025, people who provide behavior analysis in Minnesota must meet one of the following criteria to continue providing services:
This requirement includes behavior analysts enrolled as Minnesota Health Care Program (MHCP) EIDBI providers.
How to apply
Online applications are now open through Minnesota Board of Psychology – Applying for a licensed behavior analyst. Submit your application as soon as possible because there might be delays in processing.
If you have not created an online account for the e-licensing system, follow these steps:
1. Start at the Online applications portal.
2. Click the Register Here button in the lower right corner.
3. Enter the required information.
4. Click the Create Account button.
5. Click the Save button.
6. Log in using your email address and password associated with your newly created account.
DHS will send an announcement in the future with instructions to submit proof of licensure to MHCP Provider Enrollment and Compliance (PEC).
Fees
The following fees apply to behavior analyst licensure:
All fees paid to the Board of Psychology are non-refundable.
