Determine Restricted Recipient Status

MAIN - MAIN Menu

Access the Recipient subsystem from the MMIS MAIN MENU
1. Tab to move the cursor in front of the RECIPIENT FILE APPLICATION menu item in the OTHER APPLICATIONS area.
2. Type an X to select the RECIPIENT FILE APPLICATION.
3. Press a transmit key (the numeric enter key or right control key) to advance to the RKEY panel.

RKEY panel - Recipient key

1. Enter I (Inquiry) in the ACTION CODE field.
2. Enter the recipient’s PMI number in the RECIPIENT ID field.
3. Press a transmit key to advance to the RSUM panel.

RSUM panel - Recipient summary

1. Enter RPCR in the NEXT field.
2. Press transmit to reach the RPCR panel.

PCUR RPCR - Recipient PCUR

MMIS displays a list of designated primary providers on the RPCR panel.

1. Check the PCUR BEGIN DATE and END DATE fields. The recipient is not eligible for Consumer Directed Support Services (CDCS) or PCA Choice when there is a current PCUR span.

2. Enter PCA services as standard PCA on the service agreement. Only MHCP-enrolled PCPO or Medicare-certified providers may provide personal care assistance services. MMIS displays a list of designated primary providers on the RPCR panel.
3. Press a transmit key to advance to the RPRR panel.

PCUR R Restricted Recipient

The PCUR-R panel displays a list of allowed providers that have been referred by the primary physician to provide specialty services.

1. Check the PCUR BEGIN DATE and END DATE fields.
