Health Care Learning Center
Use the Health Care Learning Center to manage your health care training needs. This includes registering for classes, completing online courses, viewing your training transcripts, and more.
Training News and Announcements
- New! The Advanced Assets – HCP899 online course is now part of the required curriculum for MA Legacy Systems (HC305H). HCP899 must be completed before enrolling into the HCP305H class.
- New! MA for Employed Persons with Disabilities (MA-EPD) - HCP705M online course is now part of the required curriculum for MA Legacy Systems (HCP305H). HCP705M must be completed before enrolling into the HCP305H.
- METS Training region is now available. Visit METS Training Region page to learn more.
- Since August 2020, there is mandatory homework that workers complete before attending METS Systems and MA Legacy Systems classes. An estimated amount of time to complete homework is 10-13 hours.
- METS homework packet is available on the DHS-SIR Health Care Training Tool Kit site.
- MA Legacy homework packet is available on the DHS-SIR Health Care Training Tool Kit site
- Listing of courses, through December 2026, is updated in the Learning Center. Workers can only enroll after the completion of all prerequisites. Please email dhs.hc.trainersregistration-rqts@state.mn.us to reserve seats for upcoming training sessions. We ask that the designated training coordinator submit all seat reservation requests.
- Additional MA-LTC Systems, MA Legacy Systems, and METS Systems resources, such as handouts, technology requirements, Webex tips, and homework packets are available on the DHS-SIR Health Care Training Tool Kit site.
Reminder: Technology requirements for virtual classes (MNSIAP550H, HCP305H, and HCP895):
- Install and use the Webex desktop app instead of joining via browser (click here to install the app)
- Minimum of two monitors
- Webcam (must always be on)
- Headphones with a microphone, or a PC or laptop with a built-in microphone and speaker
