Submit applications for frontline worker pay

People who provided direct support services to older adults, people with disabilities and people with mental health care needs in Minnesota during the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible for frontline worker pay. Examples of facilities and/or organizations that employ eligible frontline workers may include:

  • · Group homes
  • · Nursing homes
  • · Home health care
  • · Residential drug and alcohol facilities
  • · Assisted living facilities
  • · Child care
  • · Social service
  • · Vocational rehabilitation.

    To determine your eligibility for the bonus, go to the Minnesota Frontline Worker Pay site (expand the “guidelines” section for detailed information on eligibility). The deadline to apply is 5 p.m., July 22, 2022.

    Gov. Tim Walz signed frontline worker payments into law (Minn. S.F. 2677, art. 2), on April 29, 2022, to thank people who worked on the frontlines in Minnesota during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
