Transition from PCA to CFSS | DHS is in the process of replacing personal care assistance (PCA) and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG) with Community First Services and Supports (CFSS). For more information about this transition, refer to CFSS Manual – Transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS. For a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) transition summary, refer to DSD MMIS Reference Guide – MMIS transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS. SimilaritiesThe APRV screen is the same for a PCA and CFSS service agreement (SA). DifferencesThere are no differences between a PCA and CFSS SA on the APRV screen.
Overview | This page describes how to complete the APRV screen for both PCA and CFSS. The county/tribal nation and DHS use the APRV screen to communicate with providers about PCA/CFSS. The county/tribal nation and DHS also use the APRV screen for other services or programs. The county/tribal nation and DHS do not always use the APRV screen. The county/tribal nation must not enter any protected health information (PHI) on the APRV screen. Comments the county/tribal nation enters on the APRV screen appear in the provider’s SA letter. To add a comment to the person’s SA letter, the county/tribal nation enters the comment on the ARCP screen.
