Liaisons: Central Preadmissions Team

  • Note: The Central Pre-Admissions (CPA) team will serve as the DCT liaisons. CPA already carries out for DCT the same functions that other liaison groups provide within their agencies. As such, CPA will respond to inquiries, route them to the appropriate person when needed, and copy the relevant contacts to ensure clear follow-up.

Scope / Notes: Direct Care and Treatment’s Central Pre-Admissions operates as a 24/7 call center that supports Direct Care and Treatment and serves as the single point of entry. The Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Hospital and our community-based service programs—which include residential and crisis services—are coordinated through this office. This office handles all referrals, pre-admissions, and manages the waitlists for Direct Care and Treatment’s programs. They also direct after hours phone call for DCT’s Southern Cities Clinic in Faribault, which provides outpatient psychiatric, primary care, and dental services.

Questions This Group Can Answer: While they manage referrals, Central Pre-Admissions operates 24/7 and can triage all types of questions about Direct Care and Treatment. They can also direct non-admission–related questions to the appropriate team.
